do chemical engineers need biology?

im from malaysia here. just started my studies on chemistry and physics. i've been wondering though, is biology needed in becoming a chemical engineer?
—Guest kjk

Hard science

Chemical engineering has a lot to do with applied physics and very little to do with chemistry. If you have a strong maths and physics A level background you are most likely going to do well in your undergraduate studies.
