I kind of hated it
- I got no jobs immediately after college. Then, I got a job at a small nanotech firm in Chicago, but I quit because of the technicality of the job. Now I'm a software engineer :-) !

Loved being a Chemical Engineer
- 1. I have worked in the oil fields of Texas, a chemical manufacturing plant, a semiconductor wafer fab and an supply chain engineer for a helicopter manufacturer. 2. I love chemical engineering because there is so much you can do - there is no area that couldn't benefit from a chemical engineer. 3. I have a BS in chemical engineering and BA in chemistry. I did go back to school to get a MBA so I could move into the business side of things. 4. I loved being a chemical engineer, but decided to become a stay at home mom when I had kids. I do miss working as an engineer, but am grateful to be home with my kids. 5. Get your degree and be confident that you can do what ever you want. I was able to jump into radically different fields because of my degree and I loved learning so much about each industry. It was a very exciting and interesting career path for me.
