What I Did:
Mixed bleach and The Works toilet bowl cleaner.
How I Did It:
. I wanted to clean my toilet and poured bleach into the toilet bowl. Then I added The Works toilet cleaner and it immediately started to foam. Soon after there was a very strong smell that actually hurt my nose, eyes and throat. I immediately flushed the toilet and left the room. When I looked it up on Google (about mixing bleach and toilet bowl cleaner) I realized what i was smelling was chlorine gas...... yikes!!! So I opened the windows in the house, turned on the vent in the bathroom and let it air out. It scared me terribly....
Lessons Learned
- Never mix bleach with other household products!
