Igor-ade is a concoction of gelatin, orange soda and vanilla ice cream. It looks a little disgusting, but tastes like a fruity ice cream float.

Mix up some Igor-ade as a drink for a Halloween party or Mad Scientist Party.

  1. In a saucepan, mix 1-1/2 cups of apple juice and a 3-oz package of lime-flavored gelatin.

  2. Cook and stir the mixture over low heat until the gelatin dissolves.

  3. Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in another 1-1/2 cups of apple juice.

  4. Refrigerate the gelatin mixture about 2 hours or until it is thickened.

  5. Divide the mixture evenly among 6 glasses.

  6. Slowly pour orange-flavored drink down the side of each glass. The orange drink will float on the green gelatin mixture.

  7. If you use orange soda, you can add ice cream and make a foamy, fizzy Igor-float!

  8. You can top the drink with whipped cream or add a glowstick as a decoration (not edible). You can garnish the drink with gummy worms or other creatures, too.
