Frederick Sanger was an English biochemist and two time Nobel laureate.

Sanger is an English biochemist who was awarded parts of two Nobel Prizes in Chemistry. He won the 1958 Chemistry Prize for determining the amino acid sequence and structure of insulin. He shared half the 1980 Prize with Walter Gilbert for their work determining the base sequences of nucleic acids.
