Methylphenidate (MPH) is methyl 2-phenyl-2-(2-piperidyl)acetate.

Methylphenidate (MPH) is methyl 2-phenyl-2-(2-piperidyl)acetate. Brand names of methyphenidate incllude methylphenidate include Ritalin, Concerta, Metadate, Methylin, and Focalin. It is a prescription stimulant used to treat ADHD and drowsiness.
