Barron's AP Chemistry Flash Cards

Barron's AP Chemistry Flash Cards

Barron's Educational Services

The Bottom Line

These cards are an excellent tool to review for an AP chemistry examination. The cards cover the necessary material without going deeply into reasoning and explanations of the topic. The answers and explanations on the cards assumes the student is at least familiar with the course material and does not dwell on theory, but just answers the questions. If used in conjunction with a study guide and old exams, these flash cards will help any AP Chemistry student.

Guide Review - Barron's AP Chemistry Flash Cards Review

High School students are given the opportunity to take classes that are equivalent to first year coursework in college. These classes are known as AP or Advanced Placement courses. The major hurdle to receive college level credit is the comprehensive examination at the end of the class.

Barron's Educational Services has published flash cards to study for several AP courses including AP Chemistry. The AP Chemistry Flash Cards is a boxed set of 500 cards compiled by Professor Neil Jespersen of St. John's University in New York. Each card is numbered and identified in one of six categories: concepts, definitions, nomenclature, math and chemical equations, acids and bases and diagrams. The front of the card has a single or set of questions dealing with one subject and the answers and explanations are printed on the back.

Chemistry for Kids!, Member EAC8

I look forward to reading the latest news and information about chemistry. The school kids love to read it too, it is always interesting and we do as many experiments as we can. The kids seem to enjoy chemistry more now as they can read about a concept and have some understanding of it before class. Vidoes are great too, anything to get kids interested in chemistry which relates to their everyday life is valuable teaching as they really get it! Keep up the good work! EAC8
