How to Make Paper Atom Decorations

I love snow. I have the tiniest, highly remote chance of seeing a flake of real snow this winter. Most likely the greenhouse effect will 'protect' me from the frozen water... the temperature drops near freezing because the clouds and rain will have moved on, so either the clouds will stay and it won't get cold, or else it will freeze because it's clear outside. I've got my bases covered regarding fake snow though, with polymer snow, borax snowflakes, and I'll make some of those cut-out paper snowflakes. Snowflakes aren't the only shapes you can make with folded paper and scissors. A Nukee's comic strip provides the instructions for paper atoms. Atoms are a little harder to make than snowflakes, but worth the effort.
