A mole is one of the most important units you'll encounter in chemistry. Yet, do you have any sense of how much a mole of a substance is? Take water, for example... how many grams are in 1 mole of water molecules? How many milliliters would that be? I'll give you a hint: Since the density of water is about 1 g/ml, the number of grams of water and the number of milliliters of water will be essentially the same... See the answer

Thanks for that ‘expose’ I appreciate it, I never really thought about it before. Now I’m trying to remember is a teaspoon about 15 grams? If so, then a mole of water would be 1 and 1/5th teaspoons, right? ; >)
