One of the more popular beach accessories where I live is a mood toe ring. These are similar to the 1970s mood rings, except they are smooth bands of color instead of the classic rounded domes. Also, I've seen reddish tones in the newer rings that weren't available in the first rings. The original mood rings had a nasty habit of self-destructing if you got them wet, which I can verify isn't a problem with the modern rings.

Didn’t the old mood rings contain mercury? I seem to remember something like that.

mood rings work about temperature not magic thats why they normally stay the same colour and my mood rings is turning copper why???

I think your ring is turning copper because it is a cheap shiny plating that is wearing off due to acidity in the skin…

u know to all u peeps i am only 10 and my daddy works in a mood ring store and he said to me one time that these mood rings are made of special stone that does change color and tell wat mood u r in by ur tempurature. and i have a whole bunch of them and i wore them all at the same time and they all came out as purple !!!!!!! AMAZING!!!! and they were from different companies that is AMAZING!!!!!!! if u don’t believe me try it urself
