Jewelry Made from Milk Polymer

Saturday July 19, 2008
It is very easy to make your own polymer from milk, but it probably never occurred to you to use human milk for the project. Britain's Telegraph reports that one company is going so far as to use the plastic to create personalized jewelry. Breast milk is reacted with vinegar to create the plastic, which is then molded into a shape and incorporated into jewelry. Personally, I think I'll stick with birthstones, but it is an interesting project that you can try at home if you like.
