Did you know that radon is a colorless gas at room temperature, but it becomes brilliantly phosphorescent as it is cooled. Radon starts glowing yellow, transitioning to orange-red near the temperature at which air liquefies. The element is present in air, on average, at a concentration of 1 part per sextillion.
