Titanium Facts

Thursday June 26, 2003
Every week, I try to add information for at least one of the elements in About Chemistry's Periodic Table. I've learned some really interesting things about the elements. For example, did you know that titanium is the only element that burns in nitrogen? I have to wonder what that means... is it essentially combustion, only using nitrogen instead of oxygen? Feel free to e-mail me your thoughts.
